Vandalism? Fun? Communication?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19858746

I'd be interested to read your thoughts on this news item!

Have a lovely holiday everybody and I will see you all on Monday 22nd October at 9 where Alma will deliver her talk on research strategies.

Many thanks,

Mark

  1. Mark, it depends on what form of vandalism that is in question as graffetti can be viewd as abstract art or a way of communicating their views with the social world.

  2. Mark,
I agree with James and with the guy who sells those stickers (from video footage). To me London's underground is pretty depressive place where nobody smiles with the only thing to see around are adverts. I'm not saying I want to see graffetti everywhere but it's always nice to see something amusing around, than the "usual stuff".
Now the question is: What do you think?

    1. Hi both. I think the 'art' is inspired. It is intelligent, amusing and hopefully brightens up the day for commuters. None of it seems offensive so why not. It doesn't seem to be doing much harm, so go go go are my thoughts!

      Cheers.
